RHP Self-Lube units provide simple and effective bearing arrangements capable of accommodating moderate initial misalignments from mounting errors. They are easily mounted and are particularly useful where fabricated machine frames are employed.
The units are available in a variety of pillow block and flange mounted configurations in one-piece cast iron or two piece pressed steel housings.
Self-Lube inserts are wide inner ring ball bearings that are factory charged with grease and effectively sealed. Most units also have re-lubrication facilities that may be required if the units are operating in arduous conditions.
Simple shaft mounting is provided by means of an eccentric locking collar, set screws, adapter sleeve, or the patented “S” lock.
In addition, RHP Self-Lube units designed for high and low temperature applications are also available that are capable of operating from –40 deg.C to +180 deg.C.
